GREETINGS, COME RUN......COME ALLThis is a friendly reminder that the 45th New Orleans Mardi Gras Marathon is coming soon......February 1, 2009. Our city has much to offer with its Southern Hospitality coupled with great food and fantastic music. New Orleans is a one of a kind destination. Start and Finish is at the Louisiana Superdome. Run down Bourbon St. and on to beautiful tree lined St. Charles Ave. (voted one of America's top 10 avenues), and around two beautiful parks. Come RUN New Orleans.....and have a good time! Course Map Now AvailableA detailed course map is now available. The first half of the Marathon course heads uptown along beautiful St. Charles Avenue, circles Audubon Park, and returns to the Louisiana Superdome where the Half-Marathon finishes. The second half of the Marathon course heads into Mid-City, circles City Park, and returns to the Superdome. This is an encore presentation of last year's flat, fast, and scenic route. Run with The Pace TeamThe New Orleans Mardi Gras Marathon welcomes The Pace Team this year for those participants who would like to run with a group and accomplish specific time goals.
